Remote Wildlife in Focus: Innovative Collaboration with US Fish & Wildlife

This unique installation required creative solutions to enable live streaming from such a remote area. The Alaska Fish & Game Department played a crucial role by setting up a hydro turbine that utilizes the river’s swift currents to generate power. Complementing this effort, Starlink’s satellite internet service provided the essential high-speed connection needed to broadcast a 4K Ultra HD video feed.

Equipped with infrared night vision and a public IP address, the 4K Ultra HD camera allows users to remotely operate the camera, ensuring uninterrupted views of the bears. Furthermore, this setup doubles as a tool for local pilots, enabling them to check real-time weather conditions before flying to this isolated destination.
